The Artistry of the MAXI SKIRT!!Can I even express to you all how much I obsess over maxi skirts... I think they are the best thing to come back into play since platforms and chunky heels.
I love the way Olivia Palermo pairs the neutrals of brown and grey in this gorgeous getup. The belt is just barely a shade darker then the skirt which adds that perfect extra element. The shoes are ideal for the length of the skirt... Because it is a 3/4 length versus floor length the heels elongate her body.
(Tip: If she was wearing one all the way to the floor a simple flat or gladiator sandal would've been a more appropriate choice.)
The simple button up she has chosen is the perfect contrast to the fullness of the skirt. Paired with the elaborate yet tasteful jewelry and shoes.
Oh i could go on all day about how much I love this outfit, the colors are perfect, the proportions are fabulous, and the mixture of simple and elaborate pieces are exquisite.
